green bowtie

To answer the question (red & green is the most popular combination) years ago l found a gorgeous small red paisley and ended up making at least 20 sets of Gollies.....l have never found this fabric again, so this pic is pretty close to what l used to make all those years ago. The green bow tie is picking up the green flecks in the red shirt. Will be back next week with some new pics - just a tad busy !!!! Sandra :-))

This is the last one all dressed in Pink & Lime Green and she looks different from the rest, no matter how you try to make them the same! Now its onto some orders ! yep been a bit slack - or is that - concentrating on large family matters instead:-)) Hopefully the forecast for Rain is true over the next few days - notice the background in this pic? dirt & more dirt! Here is another one, well l did say there were 3 and l like to add a photo with each post. I actually like the combination of pink & brown - l might use this on a bigger Doll ! Now to my news........finally after 2 years of "L"plate driving instructions from me, with lots of kerfuffle lol.......we now have a "P"driver :-)) now l can send him on some errands ! Sandra:-))

cupcake fabric

Isn't she sweet! the cupcake fabric looks great combined with the pink pants. This is a raggedy pants pattern which if you haven't guessed by now is a favourite of mine! but l tend to add my own twist - its not really a black doll ! I will be adding 3 of these cuties to my website this week as well. Today just flew bye - 5th son at school -wonder if that made a difference! Sandra :-))

As the heading suggests, l will be adding these 8 Gollies to my website in the next few days, as l need to dash out and take some more pics! as a thunderstorm is approaching, l decided inside was safer. It was fun selecting the fabrics to be used for their shirts & pants. Bet you can't guess which colourway is the most popular? As this is one of my( burgundy raggies) designs, l think l have tried every colourway ! Sandra :-))

Aussie made

This is an old pic but seeing it is Australia Day today - l thought l would show off some Aussie Handmade items :-)) 6 dolls of my own design & one cutie made using a raggedy pants pattern. The cushions were made using left over scraps, as l enjoy freehand design or rather no patterns to just create them! I tried to photograph a kookaburra but they are too quick for me! Here is the second Maddie & Mady - just thought l would have a little play with words :-)) Isn't it amazing what a cool change can do - this room is a pleasant 22C with a gentle breeze coming in the window. Hoping to get some time today to finish off a few Gollies & play with my new sewing machine, which is more like a computer than a machine! Sandra:-))
