pink pipberry

I love the way these photos turned out! It was an overcast day,so l ventured out to see if any photos would work in such cloudy conditions! yep it was perfect!! so l went into overdrive lol and bought out some older items to be re-photographed! I found this old metal stand and decided to wrap the pipberry garland around the stand! doesn't it look gorgeous against the off white background & tin shed!! I continued to take all the pipberry garlands outside and now they are on my website, looking new & fresh.

new candy cane buttons

Hi, what a nice day to sit inside and work on the computer ( its cold & raining outside) I have added lots of new items to my website, and still adding more tomorrow! need to give the brain a little rest! Laraine, did a wonderful job of creating these buttons for me. I faxed through a rough copy and this was the end result, l was trying to replicate my candy canes which have dyed lace & rusty bells around the centre. Sandra:-))

Triple Red Gingers

I used three different red checks to construct these gingerbread men . I painted wide white trims around the body and used a piece of homespun to highlight the trims. These were so much fun to make, l got a bit carried away and made several more! These will be on website over the weekend plus a few more bits & pieces. Only its started to become -Windy- and Rain is predicted soon! I was hoping to photograph more items today!! Sandra :-))

purple prim

Over the weekend l will be adding more items to my website! this prim doll is dressed in a lovely purple & mustard floral & is heavily tea stained, which only fades the purple slightly. The previous doll which is shown about 3 post ago, is made from the same pattern & they would look gorgeous together. I am still debating whether this doll needs to hang onto something! but you will have to wait and see :-) Also finished a heap of gingerbread men and working on too many dolls to list here. purple & yellow

I randomly picked some old fabric from the cupboard to make up this purple & yellow bag. I wasn't even worried how it would turn out, it was just something different to make while the kids are home on school holidays! One week gone & one to go, but who's counting! Ventured out to a local market yesterday and caught up with lots of stall owners, who began asking where have you been!!!! Apparently l have missed some really good ones/sales wise, but l am producing stock regularly and will be back soonish it really depends on the weather. Sandra :-))

I think this is the last ( 5th) prim angel - all of whom are dressed in pink fabrics, this photo actually shows the cut out hearts in the wings perfectly. I am working on my last prim doll - photo soon - l think she will be the last for a while, as l will be concentrating on making a variety of dolls for bigger shows at the end of the year! I already have a request for a Santa, but its hard to think about x-mas half way through the year! But as you know Burgundy is my favourite colour:-)) so working with red, green,white,cream & gold will be enjoyable. Sandra :-))

one hen

Here is a little peek at the finished hen/chook. It has been painted & sanded to achieve the prim look. After trial & error, this wing was quilted, painted & added to the hen on both sides. It is slightly weighted but not free standing on a shelf, but it seems to be fine out here on the ground? Notice all that nice green grass in the background and we have lots of mud too. But the local shire has graded our dirt road which has turned a simple trip to the bus stop into a hazard driver training route ! Sandra :-))
